Perfect Match™ - Artistic Nesting™ & optimal nesting

Perfect Match™ gives you unprecedented control, accuracy, speed and ease of use when nesting and seam matching exotic stone.

For the first time, you will dynamically drag and rotate your counters, across multiple slabs, in real time, all while watching the final results of the installation in the assembled view.

In fact, you can move the counters in either the slab view OR in the 3D assembled view, whichever is easier to accomplish the job.

To insure manufacturability, Slabsmith™ allows you to set a minimum distance between counters, as well as a minimum distance between a counter and the edge of the slab. Violating either of these minimum distances results in a unmistakable visual warning.

Turning on the 'bump margins' automatically prevents moving one counter closer then the minimum distance to another counter.

Although Artistic Nesting™ of exotics is the sexy part of Perfect Match™ , don't assume that's the end of the story. Perfect Match also provides the tools needed to quickly create optimal use of all slabs of material, natural or man-made.

You can even nest for common line cutting, nest for use with a CNC saw, and more.

While many companies will use Perfect Match™ with a CNC SawJet , waterjet, or router, it's also designed to be beneficial to a company with a CNC saw or even a company with no CNC equipment.

With a CNC SawJet, waterjet or router

Perfect Match™ outputs your nest as a layered dxf file, ready for programming on your CNC equipment.

Each slab in the final nest is maintained on it's own layer and includes the outline of the each slab, as well as the individual countertops that belong to each slab.

Registration of the slab your your CNC machine is quick and easy and is accomplished either with a laser or with a very simple and quick mechanical registration that matches zero on your photo station to zero on your CNC machine.

With a bridge saw or CNC saw ( even for Artistic Nesting™ )

Countertops have curves, but saws cuts straight lines. Perfect Match allows you to place a sawing boundary around your curved parts, The interference checking for nesting is performed on the sawing boundary, but the assembled view on the right, uses the countertop boundaries to show the final result of the nest!

This functionality insures that Perfect Match™ provides the shop with a bridge saw, the same nesting abilities as those with sawjets and waterjets.

With hand tools

Because Perfect Match™ can save a complete nest that can be viewed by anyone on any computer, your layout man can zoom in on the digital nest to find the exact crystal on the slab that the edge of the finished counter should pass through.

While viewing the nest on a computer is the most powerful way to use this functionality, you can also print color pictures of the nest for use by your layout man.
