1. As a photo of a slab is opened in Slab Maker™ it uses the calibration profiles --created in the photo station calibration module-- to 'un-distort" the photo and to even the lighting variations.
2. After applying the calibration, Slab Maker™ provides the tools to easily separate the slab from the background and to auto-trace the slab edges.
3. Once the slab has been un-distorted and traced, the customizable property choices are quickly assigned and the slab is saved.

The entire process from taking the photo to a completed Slabsmith digital slab can be accomplished in as little as 2 minutes.

Once a digital slab is created, it's available for inventory browsing by everyone in your company with the Slab Browser module (free).

With the Slab Browser's ability to search for slabs by using only the slab properties you care about, finding just the right slab from hundreds of slabs is always quick and easy.
